In 2013 Alex Roth met Mark Kessler, Police Chief of Gilberton, PA. She had recently bought property there and planned to cross paths with the police chief at a town hall meeting after seeing him profess his love for the Second Amendment. They became acquaintances and spent a day together on a shooting range. Days later, Kessler posted a series of violent videos on YouTube, firing automatic weapons and cursing at liberals. The recordings went viral, showering him with international attention. Gilberton suspended Kessler from his law enforcement duties. His local militia, The Constitutional Security Force, gathered outside Borough Hall in protest, brandishing rifles.
Kessler disappeared for several years. He resurfaced in an interview on Fox News, asserting the videos were decoys designed to target and weed out domestic terrorists. In conversation with Alan Colmes, Kessler revealed his secret identity to millions of viewers: he had been posing as an undercover insurrectionist, working for the FBI. On October 21, 2016 Alex Roth interviewed Gilberton’s ex-police chief, Mark Kessler, about this experience. Voice to Skull Technology is a transcript of their conversation.
This conversation is part of an ongoing project, documented in Alex Roth’s Please Make Sure Your Camper is Secure: Gilberton, PA, published by STUPENDOUS, March 2019.
